CHICAGO – September 15, 2023 – The AHIMA Foundation announced today that it has awarded $87,000 in scholarships and grants to 16 students in the health information (HI) field for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The philanthropic arm of the American Health Information Management Association® (AHIMA), the AHIMA Foundation supports HI professionals pursuing degrees in HI and related programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
“We are thankful for the commitment of our generous donors who continue to support education for emerging and experienced HI professionals," said Lauren Riplinger, AHIMA Foundation Interim Executive Director and AHIMA Chief Public Policy & Impact Officer.
