CHICAGO – August 15, 2024 – The AHIMA Foundation announced today that it has awarded $89,000 in scholarships and grants to 17 students in the health information (HI) field for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The philanthropic arm of the American Health Information Management Association® (AHIMA), the AHIMA Foundation supports HI professionals pursuing degrees in HI and related programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

Their continued support helps fuel the future of the HI workforce " said Lauren Riplinger, AHIMA Foundation Interim Executive Director and AHIMA Chief Public Policy & Impact Officer.
